En bro mellan tradition och nyskapande
Francesca Campo är en italiensk harpist och musikforskare vars arbete förenar tradition och nyskapande. Född av sicilianska föräldrar och uppvuxen i Verona växte hon upp mellan två Italien — och gjorde denna dubbla identitet till hjärtat av sin konstnärliga röst.
Uppvuxen i Verona av sicilianska föräldrar, där hennes tidiga harpstudier tog sin början.
Tog examen med högsta betyg från statliga konservatoriet i Turin, med inriktning på klassisk harprepertoar.
Slutförde sin master i musik vid Kungliga konservatoriet i Haag och startade «Ekot ur folket».
Semifinalist i den 9:e World Harp Competition, den enda italienskan bland de 13 semifinalisterna, med forskningens eget program.
